Siden annekteringen af Krim og den efterfølgende krig i Østukraine i 2014 har Rusland fyldt meget i mediebilledet både herhjemme og i udlandet. Alt efter hvem man spørger, er Ruslands ageren enten et produkt af et revanchistisk russisk styre, der ønsker et opgør med den vestlige liberale verdensorden, eller hvad man kan forvente af en stormagt, der forsøger at afbalancere NATO og EU's indflydelse i dets nærområde. I et forsøg på at komme til en bedre forståelse af Ruslands sikkerhedspolitik, har Forsvarsakademiet derfor inviteret en række internationalt anerkendte Ruslands eksperter til at debattere, hvad Ruslands sikkerhedspolitiske mål og planer er, og hvordan vesten skal håndtere Rusland.

Konferencen finder sted d. 29. november kl. 9.00-15.00 på Frederiksberg Slot og foregår på engelsk.
