Military Operations

In an increasingly globalized World, both soldiers and civilians face new challenges, connections and concrete conflicts. More often than not these conflicts demand a much more complicated type of military operation than before. The research done at the Royal Danish Defence College strengthens the development of doctrine, technology and planning of future operations. The research covers among other things military strategy, crisis management and campaign planning. The development of concepts and doctrines with emphasis on concerted planning and action, military operations, intelligence service, logistics and information operations as well as the organization of resources, deployment and synchronization. We also focus on processes of planning and strategic and operational communication.
